A difficult journey through loss of an incredibly strong and witty woman, Mom, grandmother & wife and a story about how a strong family who stuck together through it all, heartbreaking yet incredibly hopeful. It reminds me greatly of my story with the loss of my dad in which I keep most of it hidden. Thank you for having the strength to share and giving me the hope that maybe some day I’ll be able to do the same.
A beautiful story of a family going through a trying time with medical concerns and issues. This family's experience has helped while my family is going through a similar experience with my own grandmother. Heart-breaking, yet incredibly hopeful story of the process of losing a loved one and our relationship with our parents and siblings.
This story is told with vulnerability and raw emotion. Although we all have not been through this exact experience, we can all relate to the illness and/or loss of a loved one and also the importance of being an advocate for family when they can't speak up for themselves.
